About this house
Thrasher Aerie sits in the Bird Streets, the short stretch of hillside directly above the Sunset Strip that holds more glass-and-view architecture per block than anywhere else in Los Angeles. The house faces roughly 280 degrees of it, from Downtown across to Catalina on a clear afternoon.
Retractable glass walls open the great room onto a terrace where an infinity-edge pool and spa run to the horizon line, alongside a wraparound fire pit and outdoor dining.
Inside, a double-height foyer carries a 34-foot Murano chandelier in hand-blown glass and 24K gold leaf. The custom Italian kitchen runs Miele throughout — built for a private chef as readily as for breakfast.
Five bedrooms, every one a king suite. The primary adds a private bar, a showroom closet and a spa bathroom. Below and around them sit a private theatre, a full gym with a horizontal massage shower, a glass-enclosed wine cellar, a designer bar, an elevator, and Crestron running lighting, climate and sound across every level.
Best suited to ten guests who want separate king suites rather than shared rooms; production and photo work that needs a signature view; and milestone weekends where the house has to carry the evening on its own.

A few hundred feet above the Sunset Strip, reached by a single climb off Doheny. Sunset is a four-minute drive, Beverly Hills eight. The streets are narrow and quiet, the houses face outward, and most of the hillside music videos you have seen were shot within four blocks.
The map shows the neighbourhood, not the door. We do not publish the address of an unoccupied house — you will have it once dates and headcount are confirmed.
