Poinsettia Veranda is a brand-new house where the whole back opens up. A deep covered veranda runs the length of the rear under a warm timber ceiling; the glass doors fold away and the living room simply continues outside onto a flat lawn, with a pool and jacuzzi beyond.
The ground floor is one open volume — a gourmet kitchen with a marble island running into a dining area and a living room under layered chandeliers — built for a group that wants to be in the same room. Outside: a long rectilinear pool with a glass-tiled spa and spillover wall, a proper flat lawn (rare in this city), a BBQ, and enough covered seating that the veranda works as a second living room from morning to well after dark.
Upstairs, five bedrooms take two kings and three queens. The primary has a fireplace and a book-matched marble bath, and every bathroom is finished to the same standard — everything is new.
Flat, central and walkable: Melrose and Beverly Boulevard are a short walk, The Grove and the Beverly Center minutes away, West Hollywood and Beverly Hills a quick drive. Sleeps ten across a fully gated lot in the middle of Beverly Grove.
